Responsibilities
Assist bricklayers and masons by preparing materials, mixing mortar, and handling hand tools to support productive workflow
Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate construction activities and site preparation
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to understand project requirements
Support renovation and restoration projects by preparing surfaces, cleaning work areas, and applying caulking as needed
Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Help with the setup and breakdown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures
Follow instructions diligently to ensure precision in masonry tasks and adherence to project timelines
Requirements
Prior construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is highly desirable
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
Experience with renovation or restoration projects enhances your suitability for this role
Robust physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Knowledge of caulking techniques and schematic interpretation is beneficial
Willingness to learn current skills related to construction processes and safety standards
