We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our agile hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their dining experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Follow all sanitation, health, and safety guidelines related to food handling and service
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred but not required
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for transactions
Experience with food handling, serving, and food industry operations is advantageous
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial for understanding overall restaurant operations
