This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to design and manage projects critical to our Electrical Department. You will oversee electrical distribution, fiber projects, and collaborate with field crews. The ideal candidate is a university graduate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with strong project management and design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design new electrical distribution and fiber utility projects
• Coordinate planning of design work with consultants and contractors
• Establish modeling software for the Electrical Utility
• Liaise with field crews on project specifics
• Advise on design work for utility projects
Requirements:
• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Considerable engineering experience in the electrical utility field
• Eligibility for registration as a Skilled Engineer or E.I.T.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering design techniques
• Valid BC Driver’s License
