Join SaskBuilds and Procurement as the Chief Engineer of the Legislative Powerhouse, managing all aspects of our critical steam plant operations. Deliver safety and operational excellence in a high-pressure environment.

This full time role requires a valid second-class power engineering ticket and a refrigeration engineers’ certificate. As Chief Engineer, your leadership will include supervising shift engineers and meeting Saskatchewan safety regulations. Additionally, you will engage in budgeting and operational efficiency planning for the steam plant.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of high-pressure steam systems
• Champion safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Supervise engineers with second to fourth class tickets




• Assist in budget and capital planning for the plant
• Coordinate with Building Operations on auxiliary equipment

Requirements:
• Valid second-class power engineering ticket needed
• Refrigeration engineers’ certificate is essential
• Proven experience with high-pressure steam plants
• Strong mechanical capabilities and familiarity with tools
• Proficiency in computer-based operating systems
