Lead transformative Indigenous Strategies at Georgian College. The Director will enhance reconciliation, Indigenization, and learner success across our campuses in a hybrid work environment.

Reporting to the Vice President of Student Success, this full time role requires a passion for Indigenous education and community connection. The Director will oversee the implementation and renewal of Georgian's Indigenization strategy, Maajiishkaadaa (Let's Move Forward Together). This strategic position values lived experiences and a deep understanding of Indigenous histories to effectively guide institutional change.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and report on reconciliation and Indigenization initiatives
• Advise leaders on embedding Indigenous principles into college strategies
• Lead development of Indigenous courses and workshops




• Build relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations
• Represent Georgian at cultural events and gatherings

Requirements:
• 9+ years of leadership experience in education settings
• Extensive experience in Indigenous education and community relations
• Proven ability to navigate diverse Indigenous cultures
• Strong analytical and information management skills
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities
