Extendicare is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate care to patients across various shifts. This role involves helping fulfill the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients in a supportive environment.

As a Personal Support Worker at Extendicare, you will offer direct personal care, including bathing, grooming, and assisting with ambulation and feeding. Your experience in long-term care, especially with dementia and palliative care, will enhance our commitment to delivering quality care. We seek someone who can communicate positively with staff and families and adhere to care plans and routines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct personal support and care to patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including feeding and bathing




• Ensure adherence to care plans and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Support patients' emotional and social well-being

Requirements:
• Completed PSW or HCA/CCA certification
• Experience in long-term care or home care preferred
• Knowledge of care planning systems required
• Solid communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently in community settings
