Job Overview The Hearth Room Cafe is looking for a Café Barista to join our team. In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve food with a smile, and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure each visitor has a memorable experience. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and love engaging with people.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.
Operate the Square POS system & manage cash register including basic math
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Support food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and food handling procedures




Available to work shifts falling on weekdays and weekends

Qualifications
Previous barista experience is an asset, but not required. Food service experience is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
