We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Interact with customers in a friendly and skilled manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including processing payments and managing tabs.
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service practices.
Experience
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending or similar roles, is preferred.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with patrons.
Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems for effective order processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for customers.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
