Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and other menu items while adhering to food safety standards.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food handling areas and dining spaces.
Follow all food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and health regulations to ensure a protected setting for everyone.
Requirements
Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; a passion for coffee and customer interaction is a plus.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and transparent communication abilities.
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, order accuracy, and register balancing.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and working in a quick-paced setting.
