Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling responsibilities with integrity and accuracy.
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation zones, counters, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and food preparation is a plus.
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing register operations accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
