Support facility operations as a Casual Building Technician, ensuring maintenance tasks are executed efficiently. This role involves ice maintenance, system monitoring, and general upkeep for a comfortable environment.

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, this position handles diverse maintenance tasks within the building. Key responsibilities include maintaining arena ice, HVAC systems, and addressing plumbing and lighting. You'll also perform essential operational duties related to events and function setups, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Make and maintain arena ice to optimal standards
• Conduct general maintenance on HVAC and ice plant systems
• Monitor facility systems and report maintenance needs
• Perform plumbing,



lighting, and preventative maintenance tasks
• Setup and take down for events, maintaining outdoor spaces

Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
• Refrigeration Operator License or related certification is a plus
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• Ability to work shifts, evenings, and weekends
• Must pass RCMP security clearance
