This role involves assisting the Recreation Therapy Manager in executing impactful group and individual programs. You will be responsible for implementing recreational techniques, recording attendance, and maintaining therapy areas to ensure a comforting environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and executing therapeutic recreation programs
• Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and equipment




• Record and report resident attendance to management
• Provide input for individual resident recreation care plans
• Transport residents safely using the program vehicle

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy
• Experience with senior populations or mental health conditions
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Current Safecheck Food Safe certificate
• Transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
