Position Summary Under the direction of the Manager of Municipal Buildings and Parks and/or the Supervisor of Operations, Municipal arenas, the Operator Labourer is responsible for the maintenance, as well as the quality and safety of parks, arenas, and municipal infrastructure, as per the standards in effect in the City of Clarence-Rockland.
Requirements SuccessfullycompletedGrade12(secondary)orequivalent.
Musthaveaminimumoftwo(2)yearsofrelevantexperience.
Havegoodphysicalability.
MusthaveavalidOntariodriver's licence.
Mustbeself-reliantandhave initiative.
Musthaveagoodknowledgeofcarpentryandbuildingmaintenanceingeneral.
Verbalandwrittencommunicationskillsinbothofficiallanguages.
WHMIS.
The following training and certifications will be considered assets: ORFA–SafeIceResurfaceOperator

Class 3 (Blue Collar) according to the unionized salary scale: $26.53 to $29.84 per hour.
