Make a difference in youth sports as a Program Instructor for Clarington’s current tennis initiative, Her Game, Our Goal. This part-time role focuses on empowering girl-identified youth through engaging tennis activities.

The Municipality of Clarington is seeking an enthusiastic Program Instructor for a temporary position starting September 2026. You will lead and supervise the delivery of a community tennis program aimed at ages 7-13. The role requires 1-2 years of coaching experience in tennis, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in program delivery of Her Game, Our Goal – Tennis
• Adapt activities to ensure inclusivity for all skill levels




• Plan age-appropriate sessions based on Tennis Canada’s WPDP
• Manage program setup and equipment to ensure safety
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of coaching experience in tennis
• National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
