In this vital role, you will assist in preparing high-quality food for large-scale events, ensuring all banquet dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our banquet services, supporting the overall success of each event.

Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation for banquet events, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure readiness for service
Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to prepare a variety of dishes efficiently and accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times
Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and food processors under supervision
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to prevent cross-contamination and ensure guest safety




Collaborate with the culinary team to meet deadlines and deliver consistent quality during busy event setups
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations during banquet service

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on food preparation or cooking preferred
Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Robust organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
Experience with meal preparation and food industry standards is highly desirable
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff during large events
Basic understanding of serving etiquette and food presentation techniques
