Qualification
Valid Smart Serve Certification required
Previous bartending and serving experience required.
Knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and specialty drinks
Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service and provincial liquor requirements
High-energy, outgoing personality with a qualified and personable approach
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail, including personal grooming and presentation
Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing event requirements

The Banquet Bartender / Server is responsible for setting up, operating, and closing banquet bars, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with liquor laws. When scheduled as a Banquet Server,



responsibilities include assisting with the setup and breakdown of banquet functions, serving food and beverages, setting and clearing tables, and maintaining proper place settings. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for communicating with the kitchen regarding menu items, dietary requirements, and special requests, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction, responding to guest inquiries, assisting other banquet team members, restocking supplies, attending daily stand-up meetings, and completing closing duties.
