Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and productive Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position involves food handling, cash handling, and maintaining food safety standards to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company recipes and standards
Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items
Engage with customers in a friendly manner,



providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
Restock supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations throughout shifts

Skills
Experience as a Barista or in food service preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
Ability to serve food safely following all food safety regulations and standards
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
