We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Painter to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will help transform vehicles, restoring their aesthetic appeal and protecting their surfaces from future damage.

Duties
Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Mix and match automotive paints accurately to achieve consistent color matching and desired finishes
Apply primer, base coats, transparent coats, and other finishes using spray guns or hand tools with precision and attention to detail
Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, correcting flaws through sanding or additional coats as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work setting, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Use power tools and hand tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
Assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary, leveraging mechanical knowledge to support overall vehicle restoration
Skills
Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive painting and repair
Solid mechanical knowledge related to vehicle bodywork and surface preparation processes
Proficiency with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and masking equipment
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving vehicle parts or equipment
Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and understanding of how painting integrates into the repair process
Experience using power tools for surface prep and finishing tasks
Mechanic experience is a plus, providing a comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems to support quality paintwork
