As Beacon's Employment Counsel, you will build employment frameworks and processes critical to the organization’s success.

You will advise on a broad spectrum of employment matters, helping to navigate complex terminations and claims within our diverse portfolio. This agile position allows a legal expert to make impactful contributions across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities:
Own the establishment of Beacon’s employment legal function
Collaborate with HR to develop critical policies




Advise on employee terminations and separations
Field questions and manage employment disputes
Create reusable legal templates and playbooks Requirements:
J.D. or LL.B. from a recognized Canadian law school
Over 6 years of relevant employment law experience
In-depth understanding of employment legislation
Practical experience managing claims and litigations
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly Drive the success of Beacon’s employment function, providing strategic legal leadership as the organization scales.
