Duties
Design and decorate cakes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, ensuring each masterpiece meets customer expectations
Prepare a variety of baked goods, including pastries, bread, and desserts, following established recipes and food safety guidelines
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients to support daily kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food handling and safety standards
Package baked items carefully for takeout or delivery orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
Provide friendly and attentive customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations
Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks in a high-energy environment
Requirements
Proven experience in baking, or food preparation within a food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and kitchen operations
Hands-on experience with baking
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and skilled demeanor
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods to preserve quality during transport
Prior restaurant experience is highly preferred; culinary certifications are a plus
