Duties
Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision using cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Package baked items carefully for display or customer purchase, ensuring freshness and presentation quality




Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies, and restocking as needed
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering recommendations when required

Experience
Previous experience working in a bakery, restaurant, or food service setting is highly preferred
Demonstrated skills in baking, food handling, and food safety practices
Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and creative presentation styles
Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry setting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality
Experience with food preparation, cooking processes, and packaging procedures is advantageous
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude to engage positively with customers
