Required Skills & Experience
12 years in IT infrastructure, with 6 years hands-on AWS architecture and operations in enterprise/managed-services environments.
AWS Qualified-level certification (Solutions Architect Qualified or DevOps Engineer Professional) strongly preferred.
Deep, hands-on expertise across VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM (execution), EventBridge, CloudWatch, and AWS-native backup/DR.
Robust Terraform / IaC engineering — state management, modular design, pipeline-driven deployment.
Working knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and change management integration (ServiceNow/CAB).
Familiarity with enterprise observability (Dynatrace, Datadog, Instana, CloudWatch) and ITSM operations.
Proven ability to operate within client-owned cloud governance (Landing Zone, Control Tower, IAM policy) — clear on the execute-vs-govern boundary.
Solid grasp of hybrid estates and coordination with on-prem/middle
