Take your expertise to the next level as a Data Steward Advisor with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). This role focuses on managing the data lifecycle for Canada’s Community Canopies program.

Reporting to the Manager, Impact and Performance, you will lead data collection, governance, and presentation efforts to ensure stakeholders receive optimal program data. Your responsibilities also include developing automated reporting tools and collaborating with the Information Systems team. Your technical skills in data manipulation and visualization will drive the program's success.

Key Responsibilities:



• Implement the full data lifecycle for program data • Lead cross-functional processes to standardize project data • Develop and manage a explicit data collection process • Oversee the creation of dynamic automated reporting • Design program databases that meet comprehensive needs

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in related fields • Advanced data visualization skills using PowerBI • Experience with urban forestry data collection • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Proven track record in data architecture and management
