Assessandrecommendsimprovementsinaccountingproceduresandsystems.




Assessinternalcontrols(includingriskassessments)andprovidesrecommendationswheregapsexist.
Assistswithfinancialandtaxaudits.
Staysontopbestpractices,trends,changinglegislationandensurestheCompanyisincompliance.
Providesleadershipandguidancetojunioraccountingstaffasrequired.
Participatesinspecialprojects,systemimplementations,financialanalysisandotherrequestsasneeded.
Skills, ExperienceandEducation: Bachelor’sdegreeinAccountingisrequired.
CPAdesignation(oractivelyworkingtowards)ispreferred.
Minimumof2-5yearsofrelatedexperienceisrequired,withpreviousleadershipexperiencepreferred.
ProficiencyinutilizingERPsystems,accountingsoftwareandMicrosoftexcelisrequired.
Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solvingskillsrequired.
