Own the 12-to-18-month rolling demand forecast across retail, wholesale, and DTC channels in Canada and the US at SKU and category levels

Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product/Merchandising on consensus forecasting, promotional planning, demand signals, and lifecycle decisions

Build and maintain baseline and customer-specific forecasts

Own inventory forecasting, working capital planning, and budget reconciliation with Finance

Set inventory targets, safety stock policies, reorder points, and lead-time assumptions across channels and distribution centers

Lead planning for new product introductions and end-of-life transitions

Identify operational implications of marketing campaigns and site changes

Own the end-to-end S&OP; process, including executive meetings, pre-S&OP; demand reviews, and consensus forecasts

Manage service levels, inventory health, landed costs, operating cadence, and operational metrics with Supply Chain

Translate validated demand into firm purchase orders with target Cargo Ready Dates and hand off for execution

Build planning cadences, templates, SOPs, and scalable reporting infrastructure

Own the demand planning KPI scorecard and manage total inventory investment to plan

Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, tools, and data inputs

Lead, coach, and develop Demand Planners across retail, digital, and wholesale channels

Set goals and performance standards for direct reports and foster cross-functional collaboration

Report forecast accuracy, inventory health, working capital impact, and supply commitments to the COO and leadership team

Requirements

University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related discipline

3+ years in demand planning, supply chain planning, or commercial finance roles





Experience planning across retail, wholesale, and DTC channels, ideally across Canada and the US

Track record of building or scaling a demand planning function in a high-growth environment

Strong spreadsheet fluency in Excel or Google Sheets

Solid statistical and quantitative fluency, including distinguishing signal from noise

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills

Strong financial fluency, including ownership of the inventory budget line and partnership with Finance on working capital and margin

Experience with demand planning platforms suited to eCommerce-first technology stacks such as Shopify and Fulfil.io
