Join Aviva Canada’s Calgary branch as an Intermediate P&C; Underwriter. This role involves underwriting Core & Mid-Market accounts and building essential broker relationships in a hybrid work environment. As an intermediate underwriter, you'll assess moderate risks, prepare referrals, and ensure compliance in documentation.
You’ll also be expected to support current business initiatives while coaching junior team members. This position offers you the chance to manage your workload independently within a team-oriented team culture. Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite P&C; accounts ensuring profitable growth
Assess and recommend terms for moderate risk profiles
Maintain strong broker relationships for business renewals

3+ years of relevant P&C; underwriting experience
Familiarity with pricing and policy wording
Proficient in relevant underwriting systems
