Become a pivotal member of SOURCES as a Legal Manager, overseeing the Community Law Clinic while providing vital legal support. Work effectively to advocate for individuals facing poverty law challenges in a dynamic environment.

As the Lawyer/Manager at SOURCES, you are entrusted with leadership and supervision tasks within the Legal Services team. This role focuses on staff recruitment, program development, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. You will address legal issues, coordinate community services, and facilitate essential programs, fostering collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on poverty law issues
• Support in-house advocacy with legal opinions




• Identify and address systemic barriers in legal services
• Supervise program staff and volunteers
• Ensure adherence to Society policies and program guidelines

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a lawyer
• Membership in the BC Bar in valuable standing
• Experience with administrative tribunals
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Vehicle and valid driver’s license required
