Why Onni Capital Most social roles are one brand, one voice, one calendar. This is a portfolio of brands, each with a real business behind it, and you will see what works differently across very different audiences.
The content pipeline is unusually strong. A podcast hosted by the executives, flagship video series shot on location, founder events, demo days, acquisition announcements, and access to construction sites and data centre conversions most people never see. Your problem will be choosing what to post, not finding something to post.
You will be measured on outcomes that matter. Inbound deal flow, event attendance, candidate applications, and portfolio company pipeline, rather than vanity metrics.
And you are early. You will help decide what the voice is, not inherit it.
How We Work Onni Capital is being designed as a high ownership, low bureaucracy team. We work in small project groups, test ideas quickly, put early products in front of users, and make decisions based on evidence rather than hierarchy. Team members are expected to:
Challenge assumptions and communicate directly
Take responsibility for outcomes, not simply produce recommendations
Use modern AI tools to work faster and produce better results
Share unfinished work early and improve it through feedback
Move comfortably between strategic analysis and hands on execution
Know when to continue investing in an idea and when to stop
Operate effectively without a detailed playbook
This is not a role for someone who wants months of consensus building, a rigid job description, or a narrowly defined set of responsibilities. It is for someone who learns quickly, takes initiative, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and wants to help build something from the ground up.
What You Will Do Onni Capital channels Acquire, rename,
and build out Onni Capital's social handles across every relevant platform
Execute the social side of the brand launch, coordinated with the website, press, and fund announcement
Own the content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X, adapted to what each platform actually rewards
Turn long form material into short form. Every podcast episode, video series instalment, and event should produce weeks of clips and posts
Write copy that sounds like a person rather than a corporate account
Publish and amplify deal and investment announcements, portfolio milestones, and hiring campaigns
Manage community and engagement, including responding, monitoring mentions, and flagging anything that needs a senior response
Portfolio company channels Run social for portfolio companies that purchase marketing services, each with its own audience, voice, and calendar
Build channel strategies for businesses in construction, industrial services, technology, and data centres
Report on performance per client, and connect activity to pipeline where the data allows
Programme support Support influencer and affiliate partnerships, including creator coordination and amplification of creator content
Support the events programme, including promotion, live coverage, and post event content
Support recruiting campaigns. Talent is one of the audiences this brand is built for
Use modern AI tools for content production, research, scheduling, and analysis
Track and report on reach, engagement, follower growth, and inbound generated, with an honest view of what is working and what is not
Document what works so the approach is repeatable across brands
What You Bring Two or more years running social media professionally, with accounts you can point to and results you can explain
Genuine platform fluency across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, including what performs differently on each
Strong short form video editing capability. You can take raw footage and cut it into something that holds attention
Excellent copywriting. Short, clear, and with a point of view
Demonstrated ability to use modern AI tools for content creation, research, and workflow
Comfort managing multiple brands and voices at once without blurring them together
Analytical instinct. You look at what performed, form a view about why, and change what you do next
Solid organisation and reliability. A content calendar only works if it is actually maintained
Judgment about what a business should and should not say publicly
Comfort working in a small, fast moving team where priorities shift
High personal standards for quality, ownership, and follow through
Nice to Have Experience with business to business social, particularly in financial services, professional services, or an industrial sector
Experience running social for multiple clients, in an agency or in house
Photography, design, or motion graphics capability
Experience with paid social campaigns
Experience supporting a brand launch
