Position Summary: The Supervisor, Community Supports, is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of community services and supports. The Supervisor provides leadership, direction, and supervision to team members and ensures services comply with all legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Working collaboratively with staff, supported individuals, families, and community partners, the Supervisor ensures high-quality, person-centered services are delivered within defined resources and operational requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision Supervise and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and direction to team members
Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and staff development initiatives
Monitor staff training and ensure completion of mandatory education requirements
Support employee relations matters and workplace investigations as required
Direct and coach staff in the implementation of crisis intervention strategies
Support students and placement learners
Client Supports & Outcomes Manage client admissions and support planning processes
Ensure implementation and review of behavioural support plans and related documentation
Ensure appropriate client documentation is completed and maintained
Support communication with families, supported individuals, and community partners
Liaise with external agencies to coordinate and implement supports




Resource Management Review financial and operational records for accuracy and compliance
Assist in monitoring budgets and expenditures
Identify and address discrepancies in accordance with policies and procedures
Support effective use of agency resources
Operations Ensure work sites are appropriately resourced and maintained
Coordinate transportation needs and ensure vehicle maintenance requirements are completed
Ensure compliance with agency standards, policies, and applicable legislation
Complete CQI reports and departmental planning requirements
Communication & Collaboration Communicate expectations, outcomes, and information effectively with staff and stakeholders
Participate in clinical and organizational meetings
Foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners
Other Duties and responsibilities may change or vary based on operational requirements and/or as directed.
Skills Required Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to direct, supervise, coach and lead the work of others.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate effective documentation, organization, and administrative skills to manage resources, meet deadlines and other requirements.
Demonstrate competent technological skills, use of data, related software.
Demonstrate effective problem solving, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrate excellent ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education/Qualifications Required Diploma or degree in Human Services or Social Sciences, Developmental Services, Behavioural Science Technician,



Mental Health or related Health/Human Services.
Current Crisis Intervention Training required (CPI, SMG, UMAB or related.)
Valid First Aid, CPR required.
Current certification in Pharmacology required.
Fluency in English/French verbal and written preferred.
Experience Required 2-4 years direct support professional in developmental services.
Experience leading teams or team lead position an asset.
Effort Required Physical effort required to perform crisis intervention techniques as required.
Day to day activities may involve sitting in meetings, at a computer for moderate periods of time.
Day to day activities may lead to minor stress.
Working Conditions Valid G license and access to reliable transportation.
Flexible work hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends may be required to accommodate operational requirements.
Travel to other worksites or community locations may be required.
