Join Delta School District as a Computer/Electronics Technician, dedicated to creating innovative educational experiences. This full-time role entails maintenance, repair, and installation tasks in a fulfilling environment.
As a continuing position, the role reports to the ITS Foreman – Maintenance and requires technical expertise in electronics and computer services. Applicants should have a post-secondary technical diploma, with a minimum of 5 years' experience, as well as a Certified Network Engineer (CNE) credential. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance and alterations and collaborating with a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on computer systems
• Perform installations and modifications of electronic devices
• Create documentation and read blueprints accurately
• Collaborate with colleagues on IT projects
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Computer/Electronics technology
• Minimum 5 years of relevant trade experience
• Certified Network Engineer (CNE) certification
• Strong knowledge in Active Directory and networking
• Valid BC Driver's license and safe driving record
