This permanent position reports to the Supervisor, Facility Maintenance, focusing on maintenance and minor repairs in multi-use facilities, including swimming pools, arenas, and meeting rooms. You will be key to delivering effective customer service, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining operational schedules. Flexibility with variable hours, including weekends and evenings, is essential to meet community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning within facilities
• Ensure compliance with safety and legislative regulations
• Operate ice maintenance equipment during events
• Monitor pool filtration and chemistry to meet health standards
• Provide customer service and support for facility bookings
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education with maintenance experience
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid Ontario Driver's License Class G2/G
• Knowledge of facility systems and safety protocols
• Ability to lift over 40 lbs and work at heights
