In this position, you will work alongside the Director of Health, Safety, and Risk to execute essential safety programs. Your expertise will empower staff and volunteers in injury prevention, response actions, and safety procedures. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance safety practices and support overall wellness at YMCA Calgary facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on child safety and protection measures
• Collaborate on audits and safety inspections
• Lead incident investigations and reporting efforts




• Support contractor safety and asset management
• Facilitate face-to-face health and safety training

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in occupational health and safety
• Relevant degree or certification in Health and Safety
• Demonstrated practical judgment and urgency in tasks
• Proficient in various business software
• Current First Aid with CPR-C certification needed
