In this role based at the Victoria Addictions & Rehabilitation Centre, you will engage with residents and assist in their transition towards independence. You'll become well-versed in Correctional Services policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and ensure adherence to facility protocols. Your responsibilities will focus on creating a secure environment and providing necessary support to promote self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop thorough knowledge of CRF policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident information
• Conduct regular rounds and bed checks according to guidelines
• Ensure security of the facility and monitor access
• Document and communicate incidents to authorities as needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, post-secondary preferred
• Minimum 6 months of related experience
• First Aid Level 1/CPR Certification required
• Clear Criminal Records Check and enhanced reliability screening
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
