Drive community-focused projects with the City of Hamilton as a Project Manager for Community Engagement and Inclusion. Use your expertise to foster relationships and enhance communication initiatives.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sr. Project Manager and the Community Initiatives team. Your work will build connections with residents, community organizations, and equity-deserving groups to increase engagement and partnership. By employing an inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility lens, you’ll implement best practices to develop community trust and support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and monitor community engagement projects effectively
• Build relationships with external partners and community leaders




• Lead internal meetings and community events both in-person and online
• Support City staff with awareness and inclusion activities
• Analyze community data to inform engagement strategies

Requirements:
• University Degree in social sciences or project management
• Training in IAP2 preferred
• Proven project management experience
• Experience with equity-deserving groups
• Solid communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
