What to Expect
As the Purchasing Analyst, your primary responsibilities will involve comprehending, communicating, and assisting in the implementation of sourcing strategies at the local level (factory), which includes the introduction or modification of items and services. This position requires the collection of data and business requirements, as well as the communication of local needs to Local Business Partners and Local Sourcing teams, as well as to above-market Category teams, to inform appropriate actions and strategies. You will also collaborate with Factory stakeholders within your assigned scope, focusing on pertinent functions within the plant. This position is an existing vacancy.

Aday in the life:

Purchase parts and servicesrequiredto support maintenance operations and ensure thetimelyavailability of materials and services.

Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to understand business needs and support plant priorities.

Provide Procurement with information related to service and indirect material requirements and support sourcing activities.

Analyzepurchasing, inventory, and maintenance data using advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Identifyand drive opportunities that deliver measurable and tangible cost savings, process efficiencies, and value to the business.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, including the development of a zero-based maintenance budget.

Review vendor contracts, supplier performance, and billing accuracy, ensuring compliance andidentifyingopportunities for contract improvement.

Support supplier onboarding, supplier development initiatives, and supplier transition activities asrequired.

Maintainaccuratetechnical stores data and support inventory management to ensure material availability for planned maintenance activities.

Monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), audit actions, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Role Requirements

Diploma in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent technical purchasing experience.

At least 3 years of relevant operational experience in one or more of the following areas: Factory Logistics, Materials Handling, or Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel isrequired.

Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through the development and implementation of sourcing strategies within assigned spend categories over a sustained period of 2 to 3 years.

Proven ability toidentifyand deliver measurable business value, including cost savings and process improvements.

Demonstrated ability to successfully lead cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Proven experience in risk management, data analysis, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

Knowledge of Power BI is considered an asset.

Preferred Skills

Proficiencyin SAP or another ERP system isrequired.

Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and Power BI isrequired.

Demonstrated experienceidentifyingand delivering measurable cost savings through purchasing, sourcing, or process improvement initiatives.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,



with the ability toleveragedata to support business decisions.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
