As a Controls and Electrical Specialist (Electrician) , you will support the safe and reliable operation of our manufacturing facility by maintaining and improving electrical and control systems in a regulated environment. Your work directly enables consistent production, compliance, and team success.
Your impact: Electrical Systems & Installation: Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, HVAC, and plant equipment
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, motors, drives, servos, transformers, and panels
Perform bench repairs on electrical components and instruments
Complete preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime
Projects, Safety & Compliance: Collaborate with engineering, mechanical, and facilities teams on site projects and validations
Follow all safety legislation, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, SOPs, and cGMP requirements
Maintain documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams

Electrical trade certification (442A) or equivalent technical qualification
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing or regulated environments
Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, transformers, panels, and control systems
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Robust troubleshooting skills and a safety‑first mindset
Experience within a pharmaceutical, food or packaging environments is an asset
CET or equivalent designation is an asset

We’re offering a competitive compensation with a starting rate of $40.00 per hour, based on a 40-hour week .



Pay will be determined based on factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
