Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization servicing the East Coast, is seeking a Transportion Dispatcher to join their team. As a Transportion Dispatcher, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the transportation team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Transportion Dispatcher
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
What's the Job?

Coordinate daily driver schedules, pickups, deliveries, and container movements.

Communicate with drivers regarding assignments, schedules, delays, and operational changes.

Monitor the status of shipments and proactively address delays or service issues.

Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure service requirements are met.





Enter and maintain accurate information in the transportation management system.

What's Needed?

Previous dispatch or transportation experience preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency with computers and transportation management systems is an asset.
