The City of Kawartha Lakes is hiring Temporary Equipment Operators for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will operate snow plows, sanders, loaders and other heavy equipment to keep roads secure for the public and emergency services.
This seasonal role runs from roughly Oct 13, 2026 to Apr 15, 2027, at public works depots across Kawartha Lakes. A DZ licence with Z endorsement and at least one year of winter maintenance experience are preferred; training is provided if needed.
