Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager Diagnostic Services, the General Duty Cardiology Technologist is responsible for: performing electrocardiograms, carrying out peer/trainee functional instruction, performing graded exercise tests (GXT), performing Holter hook-ups and analysis, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience
Recent experience as a certified Cardiology Technologist is preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Successful completion of an approved Cardiology Technology Program.
Registration/Certified by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.

Note: Applicants who obtained their certification by CSCT at the Advanced level prior to 1995, and are currently still certified at the Advanced Level, will be deemed to meet the above qualification requirements.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
Current certification by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) required as a member in good standing.

Qualifications And Skills
Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of common software including email and internet applications required.




Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of personnel, both internally and externally and within an inter-qualified team required.
Demonstrated ability to adapt readily and respond with initiative to a changing environment required.
Demonstrated planning, organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload required.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrated problem solving and critical analysis skills required.
