Become an impactful Consultant - Indigenous Studies at Ottawa Catholic School Board, focusing on Leadership & Parent Engagement. Collaborate with educators to enhance Indigenous education for grades 7-12.

In this role, you will work directly under the Principal of Leadership and Parent Engagement, engaging with educators, staff, and community stakeholders. Your main focus will be on facilitating the curriculum and supporting Board initiatives geared towards Indigenous education. You will also assist in planning workshops, managing budgets, and preparing reports that contribute to school improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teachers on Indigenous course delivery
• Assist in implementing Ministry and Board initiatives




• Provide professional learning for educators
• Plan Indigenous celebrations and reconcACTION initiatives
• Evaluate support materials for schools

Requirements:
• Certificate from the Ontario College of Teachers
• 2+ years teaching experience in relevant fields
• In-depth understanding of Indigenous knowledge
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Experience in collaborating within educational environments
