Reporting to the Director of Care at Extendicare, the RPN will provide goal-directed nursing care in line with provincial standards. Candidates should have strong skills in communication, critical thinking, and care coordination, essential for working effectively in seniors' environments and with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the interprofessional team applying person-centered care
• Complete, update, and communicate resident care plans
• Administer medication and treatments with regulatory compliance
• Facilitate resident and family education effectively
• Coordinate care assignments for the nursing team
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Experience in senior care environments preferred
• Robust communication and clinical knowledge required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
• Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening required
