Become a Clinical Research Assistant in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary. This full time position requires multitasking across various research projects and following strict guidelines.
The University of Calgary invites applications for a Clinical Research Assistant for a 6-month Fixed Term role. You will work under the Multiple Sclerosis Research Program, coordinating with medical staff and candidates and ensuring compliance with SOPs and GCP. Effective communication and organizational skills are key here.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow Good Clinical Practice and Standard Operational Procedures
• Recruit eligible subjects for diverse research projects
• Obtain informed consent from study participants
• Perform detailed chart reviews with guidance
• Manage scheduling and communication with patients
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience preferred
• Certification in phlebotomy is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Connect Care, and REDCap
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
