Duties
Supervise and support early childhood educators to deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with curriculum standards
Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety policies, and organizational procedures
Observe children’s progress and provide guidance to educators on individualized learning strategies
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff to create a welcoming community atmosphere
Lead team meetings, provide mentorship, and support ongoing professional development for staff members
Maintain accurate documentation related to children’s development, attendance, and program activities
Skills
Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood settings
Robust background in early childhood education principles and caregiving practices
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to promote inclusive learning environments
Excellent teaching skills with the ability to engage children through creative activities and play-based learning
Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and community partners
Leadership abilities to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment
Knowledge of licensing requirements, health protocols, and safety standards applicable to early childhood programs
