Ballad seeks an experienced Safety Officer to lead our existing health and safety program. This part-time position is pivotal for maintaining compliance with Alberta regulations and enhancing our COR-certified practices. You will collaborate with team members across various locations to implement proactive safety measures and ensure every employee's well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer the Health & Safety Program and maintain COR certification
• Support leaders in implementing protected work practices
• Manage digital safety documentation through SiteDocs




• Oversee incident reporting and corrective action follow-ups
• Conduct workplace inspections and ensure audit readiness

Requirements:
• At least three years in occupational health and safety
• Familiarity with Alberta health and safety laws
• Experience with COR-certified organizations preferred
• Proficient in GoogleSuite and cloud software
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
