Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret project plans and specifications to support execution
Prepare detailed cost estimates and construction schedules
Support field teams with construction procedures and best practices
Track project costing, reporting, and financial performance
Establish and maintain project cost codes
Assist with subcontractor coordination and documentation
Qualifications / Requirements
5+ years of experience in heavy construction projects
A degree in Engineering or a diploma in Civil Technology
Proficiency in cost control, estimating, and planning techniques
Robust computer skills, including Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project
A proactive mindset and a passion for learning and growing in the marine construction field
Skills/Abilities/Attributes
Document control & reporting
Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Problem-solving and critical thinking
Time management and attention to detail
Knowledge of construction methods and safety standards
Salary: $75 - $95k per annum
The actual salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on job-related factors including relevant experience, years of experience, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group’s compensation policy.
