Make an impact with our Valuations team as an Associate. This diverse team of professionals works with clients on a wide range of businesses to accurately measure the value of their operations. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide independent and reliable business valuations that empower clients to advance their strategic goals and make value-driven business decisions with confidence.

Responsibilities
Participate in business valuations, intellectual property valuations, fairness opinions, financial modelling and purchase price allocations to help clients understand the value of their business and its components
Work with a team to build complex and dynamic, excel based financial models, including three-statement and cash flow projections, scenario and sensitivity analysis, to support valuations and strategic decision making
Participate in interactions with clients, stakeholders, legal counsel and financial advisors
Conduct industry and market research on trends, valuation multiples for relevant public companies and precedent transactions
Analyze financial statements, projections and forecasts, prepare valuation models and perform other technical based analysis to support valuation conclusions
Design and develop high-quality deliverables including engagement letters, reports and presentations
Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in business (accounting or finance major)
CPA designation is an asset
Working towards a CBV designation or willingness to enrol in the program
Previous experience building complex financial models is preferred
1 - 3 years of professional services experience. High calibre recent graduates will be considered.

The annual salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $75,000. Compensation is determined based on individual skills and relevant experience.
