Join the University of King’s College as a Teaching Assistant for the History of Science program. This part time role offers an opportunity to engage with students while exploring the impact of science through history.
The History of Science and Technology Program invites applications for two Teaching Assistants to support “HSTC 1201 Introduction to the History of Science I” this fall. Candidates are expected to have an undergraduate degree and possess knowledge in relevant subjects. Responsibilities include grading, managing lecture materials, and leading tutorial sessions to foster student engagement and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and analyze course materials thoroughly
• Grade assignments with efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with A/V setup and note-taking during lectures
• Lead engaging tutorial discussions with students
• Provide office hours for additional student support
Requirements:
• At least an undergraduate degree required
• Previous TA experience preferred
• Familiarity with history of science topics advantageous
• Must be available throughout the term
• Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
