Assist in scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL/data integration jobs using technologies such as Informatica IDMC/IICS, AWS Glue, and related scheduling/orchestration tools to ensure timely and reliable processing of AML and Financial Crime data.
Support applications and data pipelines that enable AML monitoring, financial crime investigations, regulatory reporting, and data management processes.
Assist with data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities across relational databases and cloud data platforms.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives).
Provide application support, including incident resolution and troubleshooting.

Support system or project documentation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to Sun Life standards for security, compliance, and change management.
Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Participate in rotational on‑call support as required for production systems
What do you need to succeed? Foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data manipulation concepts.
Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services through internships, co‑op placements, academic projects, or professional experience.
Experience working in AWS environments, including AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, or related cloud data and integration services.
Exposure to ETL/data integration concepts and experience with AWS Glue, Informatica IDMC/IICS, or similar data integration platforms through work, internship, co‑op, or academic projects.
Exposure to batch processing, job scheduling, workflow orchestration, or ETL monitoring concepts through coursework, internships, co‑op placements, or projects.
