As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) reporting to the Director of Care, you'll provide essential patient-focused nursing services in compliance with provincial standards. Work within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that residents receive dignified, compassionate care tailored to their needs. Your role involves thorough assessments, adjusting care plans as necessary, and directly administering treatments and medications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and maintain accurate resident assessments and care plans
• Implement and evaluate nursing care plans consistently
• Participate in care conferences and support scheduling
• Educate residents and families about health conditions
• Respond to medical emergencies and oversee emergency response
Requirements:
• Current registration as an LPN in British Columbia
• Experience in senior or long-term care preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and care coordination skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
