The City of Abbotsford is hiring an HR Advisor to focus on Disability Management. This position emphasizes employee health and effective leave management.

As a key player in the Human Resources team, this HR Advisor role is integral to the City of Abbotsford. You will be responsible for managing both occupational and non-occupational injury cases and supporting early return to work initiatives. Your experience and skills will facilitate compliance with human rights legislation while advocating for employee wellness and attendance management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage injury and illness case management processes
• Develop and oversee WorkSafeBC claims
• Create gradual return-to-work plans and accommodations
• Promote health and wellness programs across the organization
• Represent the City in appeal hearings and reviews

Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma required
• At least 2 years related experience in disability management
• NIDMAR CDMP or CRTWC certification beneficial
• Familiarity with workplace mental health solutions
• Valid BC Driver's Abstract needed
